Connecting families and missionaries
Having online privacy means having protection of "member identifiable" information which an individual or other member expects to be kept private. "member identifiable" information is information that, when associated with an individual identifies that individual, for example, a member's name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address.
Collection and Use: MissionSite.net will collect and use member identifiable information for billing purposes, to provide and change service, to resolve problems with your service, or to create and inform you of products and services that better meet your needs.
MissionSite.net may use usage data to provide customized features and services. We also use third party advertisements, such as Google, to support the site. Some of these advertisers may use technology such as cookies and web beacons when they advertise on our site, which will also send these advertisers information including your IP address, your ISP, the browser you used to visit our site, and in some cases, whether you have Flash installed. This is generally used for geotargeting purposes (showing New York real estate ads to someone in New York, for example) or showing certain ads based on specific sites visited (such as showing cooking ads to someone who frequents cooking sites). Google’s use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to users based on their visit to your sites and other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.
MissionSite.net does not supply member identifiable information to advertising companies or to individual advertisers or other third parties.
Disclosure: MissionSite.net will not sell, trade, or disclose to third parties any member identifiable information derived from the registration for or use of a MissionSite.net online service -- including member names and addresses -- without the consent of the member (except as required by subpoena, search warrant, or other legal process or in the case of imminent physical harm to the member or others). When MissionSite.net uses other agents, contractors or companies to perform services on its behalf, MissionSite.net will ensure that the company protects your member identifiable information consistent with this Policy. If MissionSite.net includes your name and any other member identifiable information in a directory that MissionSite.net creates from information we receive as an online service provider, the company will give you the opportunity to have your information excluded from that directory.
E-mail Contents: The company will not read or disclose to third parties private e-mail communications that are transmitted using MissionSite.net services except as required to operate the service or as otherwise authorized by law.
Improper Conduct: MissionSite.net may also use member identifiable information to investigate and help prevent potentially unlawful activity or activity that threatens the network or otherwise violates the member agreement for that service.
Account Information: MissionSite.net honors requests from members to review all member identifiable information maintained in reasonably retrievable form, which consists of your name, address, e-mail address, and telephone number.
