Hey there mom and dad,

We went to the temple today...thats why the email is so late. Hows traveling? My week was pretty normal. But we did get a date with Suzy! She's 11 and will be baptized on the same day. It's gonna be an amazing day. I can't wait.

By the way mom...you and the one of the investigators about to be baptized are only about a month apart in age. We filled out their baptismal records the other day and I thought that was pretty cool. In Korea, there's a special word for when you're born the same year as someone else. It means a lot more and you're immediately "friends" since seniority is a big deal in Korea. (It's all about titles and seniority) (on a side note...."elder" in korean is a pretty important title)

But ya, other than that...nothing really exciting going on. today we went to some mexican restaurant in Yo ee doh...the most expensive place in Korea. it wasn't bad. I didn't really wanna go cuz I didn't wanna pay for it...but I didnt want to be a party pooper either. I payed for my companion too so it was a bit pricy...(he's gonna pay me back though) Last week in interviews, President told me Elder Gee was gonna be transferred...That's good and kinda scary at the same time..I'm glad to get a new companion. But there's 9 elders coming in next transfer and a lot of the missionaries in the group ahead of me have already trained...so there's a fairly good chance I could be training...not sure how I feel about that...we'll find out next Saturday for sure.

Man it's hot here....like really really really really really hot...hotter than when I got here by a long shot. and wow...living in North Carolina...I thought I knew what humidity was like....man did I get smacked in the face with that one.

Pray for the weather...i love you guys,Stay safe traveling... Love, Brinton
