Hello there,
Yes, the baptism was amazing! It was a bit quieter than the last one. No members we're able to make it except those speaking but it was still really good. Sunny and Hammer were both really happy and I was able to baptize both of them. It was a really neat experience. They already feel like they've been members for a long time. I love them!
Lately we've been spending a lot of time with them. We usually go and play tennis in the mornings and they are even taking us bowling today. Should be lots of fun considering I haven't bowled since I left America.
That's really cool about Jessica's baby...make sure they send me pictures.
No I haven't gotten the cds yet...maybe in a couple weeks. That's so cool about all that music..man I miss all my music. like a lot....a lot a lot.
So with the olympics and what we hear about them it sounds like korea has 4 gold medals so far! But holy crap...Phelps is kickin' butt in swimming. man he's fast....(that's really all we hear about swimming.)
We won't be able to see Suzy till the end of August...not really sure how she's doing. Just really busy I guess. and yes, an 11 year old girl can be busy in Korea. hard to believe im sure.
Not really much else goin on. for jundo...we got caught by a security guard while knocking doors last week. That's always fun. We actually didn't mean to be knocking doors in this really expensive complex. But we had an appt. with a new investigator but when we got to the apartment we realized that we didn't have his name, number or address. So all we could remember was a specific building...so we started knocking to try and find him.....turns out we just found the security office....oh well, we're supposed to meet him again tonight. We'll see. I wrote down his address in about four different places just to be sure.
I love you guys!
Have a great week!
Brinton
