Elder Brinton Johnson's Mission Site

Hello Family,

Well, I did get a new companion and his name is Elder Kappas. He's from Springfield, UT (I'm thinking he meant Springville) and he's been in Korea for around 48 hours. Yes, that means I'm training a new missionary. I found out last Sunday after conference, and have been crazy nervous ever since. He's way cool and excited to be here. Reminds me a lot of when I got here and how amazing and surreal it was...(man I've been a missionary for a long time.) I don't really know too much about him yet but I can tell you more next week.

Conference was of course amazing. Yes, we do watch it in english (Korean is hard don't you know...) and we usually watch it as a zone at the stake center. Then the stake watches it together upstairs. It was soo good. I'd have to say that my favorite talk was Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin's. He is the man! But the rest were all amazing of course.

So that house that we apparently found last week was bought by someone else before we were able to...so needless to say, we didn't get it. But I was able to find another one (that's actually better) and right now we're waiting on approval from the Church. I really hope we move soon. I've been losing a lot of sleep lately listening to the church below us play crazy music at all hours of the night.

So for the last week and a half, I don't think I've talked to anyone in the mission that hasn't said something about Maria getting baptized. There were a whole lot of people praying for her and we can all see how those prayers were answered. Thanks so much for the support you are to her. I'll be eternally grateful for it.

So, you haven't really said much about the pictures I sent home...I guess they weren't as good as usual...sorry.

Thanks for sending the box. i'm sure I'll get it well....later. hopefully before my cards expire. That could make things interesting.
