Hey Mom & Dad!
The MTC is great! I love it so much. Where do I start to try and describe it? Of course we wake up in the morning at 6:30 and get ready in about 30 mins. It's really not bad at all.
My companion is great and we get along really well. My teachers are pretty awesome. I've really only met one of them. Bro. Christenen. We haven't met Sis. Lamaroex yet because she's outta town. So Brother In is filling for her at the moment. He's a native korean speaker.
The food here is pretty good. It cycles through all the meals about every 2 weeks.
So on Sunday, there was a big training meeting for all of the branch presidencies. Well, at lunch on Sunday, I saw L. Tom Perry and shook the hands of Richard G. Scott and someone from the Seventy. On Tuesdays, which is tonight, there's usually a general authority that comes to speak to us. Last week, on the night before we got here, Elder Henry B. Eyring was here. I'm sure that was pretty amazing.
So I'm sure you're probably wondering if I've learned any Korean yet, and the answer is (some character he wrote ), which means yes. It's pretty hard, but I'm getting the hand of it. Like I said, my teachers are amazing so that helps a lot.
Well I just want to let you know I love you guys and I'm very happy to be here. I think about home a lot, but I'm not homesick. I can't wait to get to Korea.
Love lots,
Brinton
P.S. Korean word for the week:
