Wow, where to start. Korea is amazing. Yes the plane ride was insanely long and tiring. But Korean Air is possibly the best service i have ever recieved on a plane. The korean people are so kind and have such an amazing spirit about them.
Im so glad you got that DVD, They had said that they might make one but its been so long that i didnt think they would. I hope you like it!
The food is delicious! Kimchi is so good. Its really kind of hard to explain what exactly it is...its just kimchi. Theres different kinds.
My First couple days in Korea were spent in the mission home. President and Sister Burton are amazing people. I already have a great love for them. Their having an elevator put in and so there were jackhammers going off like crazy all day long. Our first morning we went to the 목욕탕, which is the bathhouse. That was pretty sweet. Then we had some training with the AP's and President Burton. Then went to the bank, got an account, went out to eat, and did some prosylitizing. Oh by the way, the night we got here, when we met president and sister Burton and the Ap's at the airport, President Burton took our luggage and we went with the ap's on the bus and started talking to people. Then, when we got off the bus, we had about 20 mins to get back by 9 and a lot more distance to get there. So they gave us some pass-a-long cards and we started running, giving them out along the way. It was pretty intense.
This morning, we had breakfast with the four trainers and then had some more training, a testimony meeting and then we left. And here I am now in my first area. Its called Mansu, which is in Inchon. My companions name is Elder Wallentine, and hes from Pleasant Grove, UT. Ill be sure to take many pictures and send them as soon as possible.
I love you all and miss you tons!
사랑합니다!!!
