Korea is amazing!

I dont think ive ever been asked so many questions in one email..ill see what i can answer. Korea is basically amazing. I cant begin to describe how incredible the Korean people are. I know you know what southern hospitality is, well in Korea, its multiplied by a hundred. It really is amazing.
So my first week in Korea was definately a lot of firsts. the food is awesome. We have about 25 active members in the ward. They are all very strong. Our Bishop is amazing. Hes only been a member for three years and is a great leader in our ward. I love going and meeting with the members as well.
Funkhauser isnt bad as long as you get him on a good day...and chemisty isnt hard if you really work at it. But if i had the choice...GET OUT WHILE YOU STILL CAN!!!
As far as letters go...everything gets sent to the mission home and every few weeks when we have a zone meeting or go the mission home we can pick it up. so i honestly wont be able to tell you how long it takes to get here. Or when ill even get it for that matter.
I still havent heard from James, but im sure he'll get around to it.
Like i said before, Korea is amazing. I guess its your typical aisan country but its just...Korea. We have around 5-10 investigators, but we're always looking for more. Every thursday night we teach english class and that sometimes brings out some investigators.
I havent gotten an email from Brandon yet so i dont know if he sent it or not. Im going to be buying an electronic dictionary today so just check my account. As far as money goes...in korea they use the 원 or Won. There are only few different kinds of bills and then theres some coins. for example, 1,000 won is around 1 dollar, or 10,000 won is around 10 dollars. I have no idea what the exact exchange rate is.
Some things are cheaper and some more expensive. We got mcdonalds after our combined district meeting yesterday and i got a combo meal for like $3.50. which is pretty cheap for mcdonalds. They have like pizza hut and dominos and baskin robbins here..but they're all really expensive. Oh and theres no tax here. The price you see is the price you pay, its kinda nice. I dont know what the heck i want for christmas. Whatever she feels like sending. Food is food. Just tell her if she sends beef jerky or any meat like that not to write what it is on the package...Korea has one of the strictest quaruntines as far as foreign food and stuff. i think thats all of them. I love you miss you guys like crazy.
Love,
Brinton
Side note...I happened to get his email a few minutes after he sent it and he was still logged on... so we sent email back and forth a few times. Just so you all know he can only pick up his snail mail when he goes to the mission home or when someone happens to bring it to them. So he may not get his mail for a few weeks even though he may have received it sooner.
