Date: October 25, 2007Area: Mansu, Inchon
Companion: Elder Wallentine
Hello family,
Ive decided you need to send me some barbecue chicken pizza. I would like that a lot. I heard transformers was pretty good. Can't wait to see it. Its good to hear you finally got some rain. Sounds like it was needed.
I didn't get my box yet, but I should be able to get both packages at zone conference a week from now.
Glad to hear you liked the pictures. I only took one video geez...sorry i wasnt physically in it. I'll send one next time.
I love the food here. The stuff in the rice is just different stuff that makes it healthy or does something I dont know. But its all good. Maybe I should give you my companions moms email so she can help you find where we're at on google earth. I know shes found it and pinpointed our church and everything. Korea is pretty detailed on there I guess.
Yes my back is dying...thank you for pointing it out. It wont be a problem getting used to a bed again when I go home.
Okay mom, when it comes to letters, unless you just barely told me about them...I've gotten them. It's okay...
Thanks for changing my pin. I know I was using the right one i=I just dont know why it wasn't working right.
This week was nothing interesting. We lost those two boys and had to drop them. Their mom called and didn't want us to meet anymore. It breaks our hearts but life goes on. Theres nothing we can do about it. Right now our focus is pretty much on two people. It would be three but one of them had to drop for a month and they should be able to start meeting again in December...they're just really busy at the moment. But 임정묵 (Im Chung Mook) is a 14 year old kid that has read the book of mormon all the way through almost twice now and its getting closer and closer to baptism. Another mom in the way though, but shes moving to America soon so we should be able to get him to church. And the other is 김철근 (Kim Chor Gun) Hes about 30 years old. Is fluent in English, Korean, and Chinese. And is one that just found us and has met missionaries before. But last week, he called US, and set up an appt to meet US and doesn't have any interest to learn any english...just gospel. It's great. I'll keep you updated on him.
Other than that, I just finished writing a big long letter home today and will hopefully mail it tomorrow. Be on the lookout.
I love you all, Have a great week. Pray always, as a family. The prophet knows what hes doing.
Do me a favor and find the talk by Elder Wirthlin from a few conferences ago.. called " Sunday will Come" It's a great talk. Have a family home Evening about it this week and let me know how it goes. No excuses for not having one. I expect to hear back next week. I love you all..
