Hey,

Sorry to say that i am feeling sick today. My throat is all... but it's definately no fun being sick, and it's like ten times worse when youre sick as a missionary.
I just sent the pictures on cd's the other day, sorry. It's the first time I've gotten a chance to do it. I'm sure they'll get there just fine.
The picture frame is awesome. I have it set to turn on every morning at the beginning of study and turn off at the end. It's pretty cool.
It would be cool to see pictures of the house and from Utah and stuff.

As far as birthday, I really don't need much. Garments are fine. I really can't think of anything I want. Be creative, nothing expensive. I'm fine on contacts. I should probably change them more often, but my eyes are doing just fine.

We don't go on base too often, but we get escorted on to visit members and stuff. They take care of us quite a bit. We don't drink anything but american milk (which is awesome) and most of the food in our house is American. We get pretty spoiled. As far as missionary work though, we work mostly with the Korean ward. We do have an english investigator though. He's actually not military. He's half Korean, half Black, and he's a cool guy.

But both the branch and the ward take pretty good care of us. I love this area. Its also gigantic compared to my last area.

The work is going. We're talking to a lot of people everyday and picking up new investigators like crazy.

As far as the suits and stuff, they really are in not great shape, its the pants and ive had them fixed at the cleaners like 3 times. Another Elder in the house is looking for a suit today and I need one, we should be able to get them for around 50-70. But if its too much I'll survive. Dont worry about it.

The rest of my clothes are fine, I've got summer pants that I don't even wear (because none of them match the suits) but I'll last through the summer just fine. And my shirts are dirty and stained, but that's normal. Socks, if I need them and we don't get them as gifts are so cheap I could honestly buy a new pair and wear new socks everyday for the rest of my mission on a missionary budget...not kidding.

I love you all so much. Stay healthy, stay safe. Dont forget scriptures and prayer.

Have a great week,

Brinton

P.S. Oh and by the way, I ate dog this week. Wasn't bad. It's basically just meat. But I'm not gonna lie, the thought was still there the whole time (hey, I'm eating dog) fun.

MOM: Dog... You had to try it. Doesn't sound like it was that great! Where did you have it at?

BRINTON: It was just at a little restaurant not too far from home really. There was a kid in our branch about to leave for his mission to California spanish speaking and we decided it's just something you have to eat before you leave Korea. And his parents won't be here when he gets off his mission. We got a couple pictures. They were actually cutting up some dog in the front room as we walked in. Just think of that yummy wet dog smell. And that's what it smelled like.

MOM: I can't imagine eating dog...at least you can say you've tried it now...hopefully you won't get the urge to again...

BRINTON: I love you guys. Mom, I miss you. I love you

MOM: I love you too...I miss you a lot!

MOM: BTW....Shyla is wondering how to stop getting updated texts of sports scores. When you get a chance to explain...let us know.

BRINTON: haha...I have no idea. But its good to keep updated...I actually started that for free when I got my phone, and it's been doing it ever since. Sorry. haha.

Well I have to go. I love you guys. Take care

MOM: I'm sure she'll be happy to know...she's stuck with sports scores. Take care...it was nice to chat with you. Have a great week. I hope you get to feeling better. Love, Mom
