Hey there 가족!!
Thats (family). How are you? Congratulations Shyla for wasting whatever team you played and beating them into the ground without mercy. I'm happy for you.
The basketball game last week went well. It ended up just being us and one of the koreans, but we just played around. It was fun. I've also recently discovered that sitting like a korean sits (cross legged on the floor) has weakened my right knee and makes it interesting to walk a ton or play basketball on. It's fun. I might buy a knee brace to play ball in. (problem is i don't have money...25bucks.)
So, as far as investigators and what not...you would know if any of them had committed to baptism because the excitement would probably be felt all the way in North Carolina. But sadly no...they are still doing well and we have a bunch that are really really close. But their also all progressing slowly. I'm sure everything will happen thats supposed to. The top investigators are still the same. We actually had a bunch of appts cancel this week but instead decided we would pick up 6 new investigators in two days and ask them all the come to church. (ok so it wasn't really our decision but we're glad it worked out and now we should have a few investigators at church.)
Lately with training from President and from the AP's they've been focusing a lot on teaching. As a result, we teach more amazing lessons and our investigators are feeling the spirit so strongly...I hope to see a font filled soon.
So about that phone call earlier. That was Brother Dickey. Hes awesome! He invited us over this morning on his day off and fed us all breakfast (the four in the house) He basically said "What do you want?" and literally cooked whatever we wanted. It was amazing. I had an omelet and some chocolate chip pancakes. Then, he went on the computer and made a Missionary Jeapordy game for us because we were over there during study time. It was awesome. And then he topped it all off with giving us some sausage and 3 gallons of american milk. Man I love our American branch.
I'll see what I can do about some pictures soon. I might wait till after my birthday so i can send you those too.
I think I have that Now Let Us Rejoice cd...other ones...don't think so. in all reality im simply bored with what I got...you know me and my music....
I may have some time to get a letter written today. Our house is messy and I'm usually the one that does most of the cleaning (aren't you proud? I may have picked up some neatness despite the usual condition of my room at home)
I love you guys and hope you have an amazing week.
Love, Brinton
p.s. I never got a report on some family home evening you were supposed to have. Dont worry about it. Your next assignment. Watch the latest "Worldwide Leadership Training Meeting" and let me know how you liked it. Love.
PS!!!! PDAY IS A DAY LATER NEXT WEEK! WE HAVE A MISSION CONFERENCE WITH ELDER YAMASHITA OF THE SEVENTY FROM JAPAN.
