Hi,

We really enjoy having the missionaries in our home for dinner! Our kids were especially excited to have Elder Johnson (our new Elder) over so that they could initiate him into the Jello racing hall of fame. We have started a little 'fun' kind of tradition while stationed here in Korea....Jello races.

I went up to the Elders on Sunday just to confirm that we were on for dinner that night. Elder Johnson politely asked what we were having for dinner. I told him that we'd be having roast beef, mashed potatoes, jello, vegetables, and homemade rolls. I think that he had had enough kimchi because he seemed really excited to have traditional 'American' food.

When we all sat down and the kids challenged him and Elder Kesler to a jello race. Straws were issued, rules were given (you have to suck all of your jello through the straw...the fruit in the jello is exempt) and the race was on. The only time that we allow these new, 'traditional' races to occur is when we have missionaries over. I think that they all had fun.

I took pictures and thought that you might enjoy seeing them.

Take care!
The Fishers
