Mom & Dad,
Okay so this is the second letter you'll get in the same package. Happy Momma Day, mom and Happy Birthday 생일 축하합니다, Dad! I love you guys, even if you are getting old. :-) It was so good to talk to you guys last week. It was weird how normal it felt. Like it wasn't like it had been 5 months since I talked to you.
So this last week was awesome. Like I said in my email, we had a mountain zone conference yesterday. Along the trail, we had various activites to help us learn Gospel principles. For the second activity, they asked for a volunteer and my hand was the first to go up. The next minute, Elder Dalling (assistant) told everyone to give their bags to me. (I got the picture). With about 25 people in our zone, it was a lot to carry. I then had to carry them up 104 stairs, and you know how stairs on a mountain trail are. It was so hard...I had to stop several times to rest, but never gave up. By the time I finished, it was evident and obvious what it represented. When Christ walked the road to Calvary. I can't imagine what it must have been like, but I feel like I understand little bit better now. I gained a significatly stronger witness of the true reality of the Atonement. It was more real than I've ever understood it in my life up to that point. I love my Savior, Jesus Christ. And I can't express how thankful I am for the sacrifice He made for me, personally. I think a line from the song Pres. Faust wrote describes it best "How many drops of blood were shed for me?" ("This is the Christ"). I love you, Mom, Dad, Shyla, Kaylie. Never underestimate the power of the Atonement. It's as real as the paper you now hold in your hand.
사랑해,
Brinton
