I served in cortez are you still living in that 2 story house with all of the yellow tiles. do you still have church in the living room. Is beatris still around she used to live in upper de la paz what about the Rojas's and the hubac's and buscato's tell every one that elder elmer says hi If they want to write me could you give them my email. good luck to you out there Ill be praying for you. Elder Young, I served in Cebu 32 years ago as a sister missionary. Wow! Time flies. I just sent my youngest son on a mission to Brazil. He has been out about 2 months and I miss him so much. I was looking at missionary websites and came across yours. It brought back so many memories. Wonderful ones and challenging ones! The awesome people, the heat and humidity, the food, the lizards, giant spiders, huge cockroaches, and very big rats, the balute (yum!) and so much more. I ever brought a guitar home with me. I'm so thankful that great missionaries continue the work so many years later. The Lord loves the Philippine people. May he bless you with great joy and success.

Good Luck with your mission. It really does go by so fast. The church is true! Keep the Spirit and keep up the good work. I don't remember there being a Cortes area when I was there, so that is awesome, the mission has grown. Cebu Mission is the best. I hope to go back some day and see the new temple. Amazing!
