Hi Elder Lunt ~
Well, this is Elder Merrill's mom. How are you? I just wanted to say "Hi" and to thank you for being such a great companion to my son. I know that Cam has really enjoyed you, and I'm sure he is sad that you two are being separated already. Wow, that was fast! But you two have had some great times, and some strange experiences also ~ like the 'emergency transfer'! That was crazy to read about in Cam's e-mails awhile back.
Anyway, good luck with everything and I hope you feel better soon!
You and Cam will catch up to each other later, I'm sure.
Take Care,
Cathy Merrill

Hi Sister Lunt -
It was a thrill to read your missionary's latest update and to know our boys are together. I have two missionaries currently serving in Brazil--Elder Koby Watanabe - Porto Alegre South 01/2010 and Elder Kenji Watanabe - Belem 11/2008...or Elder Wat as your son referred to him. Belem is one of the two greates missions...his experiences will both melt your heart and make your spirit soar as you read about the work he will perform. I'd love to keep in touch. Please email me when you have an opportunity! Know your missionary is in the best care possible...congrats on sending out another servant to move the work forward!! Your Sister in the Gospel...Cyndi :)

Elder Lunt,
Your Mom told me about this site yesterday. I've been reading through your letters. This is amazing. Wow! What a great way to stay in touch with everyone. It sounds like things are going great. I'm not surprised. You have an incredible opportunity to be a vessel for the Lord, to be His full-time instrument. Stay close to the Spirit and always be 100% obedient to His promptings. I'll be touch.
Love you!

Hi Elder Lunt;
I just read about your missionary experiences in down-town Sao Paolo. It sounds like you had a very enjoyable and a very spiritual experience.
I remember how scared and how excited some of our missionaries used to be when they stepped out of our van and faced the crowd.
Keep taking those vitamins. SMILE

Hi Elder Lunt;
We just read your first letter. Boy--it really brought back memories and many tears of joy. It sounds like they are getting you right to work. I am impressed that you can already do so much in Portuguese. Your MTC experience will be something that you never forget. The friends you meet will be your friends forever. You will cry when you leave the MTC (wait and see). The MTC is a spiritual "hothouse".You will also cry when you leave your mission.
All my Love--Papa Lunt
