We had a great week here in Lyon! Almost all of the missionaries in the zone showed an increase in the standards of excellence! We had a few really cool experiences with the Spirit a few days ago as well. We had a bit of extra time after an appointment so for twenty minutes we talked to people outside not too far from the Metro. We got to one man and he just flat out said ''that doesn't interest me.'' We asked him what didn't interest him and he turned around and started to explain all of his problems and the problems he has found with religions. He loves Chirst but told us he was so confused by everything he has heard from other churches and was almost angry in they way he expressed his thoughts. We exlpained a bit about what we believed and asked him if we could see him another time. He just shook his head and said ''no, no, I am too busy and will not have the time. I have things to do left and right and never even find any time for myself. I will be completely occupied the rest of this month, I am sorry. '' We just said ok and told him we could at least leave him with our testimonies that the Gospel of Jesus Christ in its fullness was restored. He said ok. He listened to us and was touched by the Spirit. The next thing he said was this ''I know I told you I was already busy but I think I might have some vacation time comming up. Could we at least exchange numbers and then maybe we could call eachother next week and find a time to meet...would that bother you at all?'' Of course we said no, we would love to do that. He also took a book of Mormon and left us with a big smile on his face, telling us he was so happy to find some real beliving Christians.'' We had two other great experiences like that durring the same day. The Spirit is such a wonderful tool! It testifies of truth and carries our words unto the hearts of others. It is there to lead us and guide us every day! I have a wonderful testimony of its power and the role it can have in our lives. We have a very loving Heavenly Father! Thank you all, have a wonderful week!!! -Elder Black
