Otro Bautismo! More Miracles

Hey Fam,

Things are good here in this part of Monterrey! The ward is really starting to appreciate the work that we´re doing here and the trust between us and the members has grown tremendously.
Yesterday we baptized Sergio Carlos Garcia Montes, he was such a miracle baptism. So last week we found out that he wasn´t a member,(we thought he was because everyone told us he was and it was the 2nd time we had seen him in church). His wife was a member and so we started teaching him throughout this week. He accepted to be baptized on our first lesson with him on one condition; that we didnt tell his wife he was getting baptized because he wanted it to be a suprise. Well after like two days he told us that his wife knows and we were like OH NO HOW? haha he told us he was too excited and couldn´t keep it from her any longer so he told her. haha Anyway saturday night, Elder Murphy and I were thinking well we don´t have anyone who is ready for baptism for next week so it looks like we are not going to baptize for the first time in this change. So we prayed for another Miracle like Sergio and Julio Cesar. Well after the confirmation of Guadalupe yesterday she came up and said, ¨what does my grandson have to do to get baptized¨ and he was there in church with her. We asked her grandson Maxamiliano if he would like to be baptized and he said yes! Our Prayers Were Answered!! So we are teaching maxamiliano this week to be baptized on Sunday.


 Another Miracle- okay so last week my companion and I were looking at our money and were thinking wow we sure have gone through our money fast this month with buying all these triple´s and hymn books and bibles for our converts and celebrating the baptisms with pizza and campechana´s every week. So on Saturday Elder Murphy was asking me what the word was for a Dead Body and he thought it was a cathedur and I said no a cathedur is that thing they hook to you in the hospital for you to pee in. So he grabbed on of the dictionaries that was on the table in our house that some other missionaries left there. And I just saw him get this big grin on his face and he hurried and closed the book. I said what? so what does cathedur mean? he said that doesn´t matter anymore. I said why? he says Elder moklebust what would you do if you found 200 pesos would you split it with me, and I said YES of COURSE!! haha then he pulls out money out of the dictionary and It wasnt just 200 pesos it was $$$$400!! whoooooo!!!! WOW Answer to our prayers again!!! cha ching!!! We were thinking what missionary would hide that much money in a dictionary and then forget!!!! haha
 
So then last night our DOM(ward missionary leader) came over to our house and took us out for campechanas to celebrate the baptism and then after he bought us each more than 1 liter of Ice cream!!! Each!!! I kept saying no no thats too much hermano but he insisted!! So we are being continually blessed and I know I just have to stay humble and thank God for everything he is giving us.

 Yeah dad you can just send me emails. And yeah His name is Skyler Hayes, he was the one who got in a really bad car accident last year during school and it was like a miracle he survived. But yeah he is a good friend. I´m excited for all these guys going on missions, the church needs em especially Obedient, dedicated missionaries. That is so awesome too that so much money was raised for the Smith family! sounds like a very successful fundraiser and I will keep tyler in my prayers.

Sounds like you all had fun on the vacation! Well our Dueña of the house which is our stake presidents daughter just called us today and said she´ll be putting air conditioning in our house for us this week!!! whoo!!! I hope I stay here in lincoln for the next change because we are just entering the canicula and it will be really nice to have clima in the house at nights.

Haha so I dont think I ever wrote this to you but like the second week when elder murphy got here we were walking down the street in a kind of more dangerous poor area when all of a sudden we see this naked guy standing on the corner haha and he had a napkin in his mouth but he was completely naked and then after about a few minutes the owner of this store on the corner brought out a coke for the naked guy and then the naked guy just continued making his way down the street....naked.... haha thats the story i just thought I would tell everyone that weird experience.

P.S. oh yeah dad I did get a bike and we are cruising around everywhere!!! so much more effective!!
