hello my wonderful family. how is everyone. before i forget. mom the adress to send boxes, you have to put the mission first then my name. Brasil Belem MissionElder Adam Tafoya... that website is awsome, i like all the quotes. to answer your ?īs i have been recieving letters and awsome postcards, i havenīt recieved a box or surprise yet, i and doing good on deo, and shampoo. that one bottle of Head and Shoulders lasted almost six months. i am doing good on stuff, i need peanut butter and licorice. i am doing good on money. i sitll have vitamins, and i do feel tired and run down everyday. i think i wake up more and more tired everyday but the joy i recieve from sharing the gospel and the help and love of my family and heavenly father keep me going.
hey Dad i really liked those qoates, i wrote both of them on my daily planner so everytime i look at my planner i read those quotes. here is a quote for you,
īit is easy to please God but difficult to satisfy Himī. God may always be pleased with us but he is never satisfied because he knows our potential. he knows we have the capacity to become like him.
Dad never forget your potential, and never forget the love that your heavenly father has for you and your family.
Funny story this week. there is a place in our area called GREENVILLE, it is like tanoan with huge houses, rich people, huge fences and about fifteen security guards at the front gate. the other night my comp bet me that i couldnīt get in and teach a family, but being a missionary of the Lord i knew i could.jk. i went to the front gate and told the gaurd that we were missionaries of Jesus Christ and we wanted to teach a family in GREENVILLE. he let us in and we walked past all of the gaurds and were in. i think he didnīt understand me because to get in you have to have permission but we got in and we went to the first house, no one was there so we went to the second, a woman opened the door and let us in. i told them that we had a message to share that could make their family happier and they agreed to listen. the family was really intersted and at the end we asked the husband to offer the prayer. we all knelt down and he prayed to know that what we had tuaght was true. when we left we walked out the front door and there were two gaurds waiting for us. they took us to the front gate to talk to the chief. he told us that we had entered without permission, i told him that you guys had let us walk in, so we did. he told us that the next time we have to have permission. it was so cool. i felt so good being able to teach that family. yesterday after church we gave a training to the membros about how they could help our investigators in the church, it was really neat, not many members showed up but those who did were really excited. well that was my week. Here is a Scripture for my mom that has given me a lot of strength. Alma56.47, yea ė have been taught by my mother that if i did not doubt God would deliver me. thank you mom for always teaching me the gospel. I love you all. Love Elder adam tafoya
