hello family, how is everyone. i am doing great, this week was awesome, tiring, inspiring and everything else. on thursday night we caught a bus to São Luis. the bus ride was interesting, for ten hours we drove through the middle of nowhere on a two lane road. i felt like i was riding inside a drying machine it was so bumpy and windy, i got to sleep a little. at 6:00 on friday morning we arrived in sao luis, we caught another but to the chapel and waited outside the chapel until ten, when finally someone let us in. we ate lunch wich was amazing because we hadn´t eaten anything for about a day. then president and Elder Chrisofferson arrived. conference was amasing. elder Christofferson is part of the presidency of the setenta, he is like an apostle. he responded to some of our questions then talked about the atonement and our obedience to the commandments. while he was talking aobut the atonement i felt so happy, i sat there thinking about my savior and the sacrifice that he made for me, i have recieved such a strong testimony about the Savior and the love he has for me, everytime i read something about Him my testimony grows stronger. after the conference we went to the bus station, ate, then left again, ten hour again on the same raod, we got back to Acailandia at about five in the morning . we slept until about 6:30 then went to work again. it was an interesting and amazing trip. hey i saw some of those pics of Sao luis, it is such a beautiful place, it is called the island of love. hey those pics of acailandia on the mission website are cool, we walk by that area everyday and that is a picture of our chapel , pretty cool huh. hey you guys should write more e-mails because i only recieve letters every six weeks during the transfer becasue we are so far from everyone. but that is about it for me i hope everything is going well for you guys, fill me in on everything and i love you. elder tafoya
