One Crazy, rainy baptism

olá famíla, todo mundo esta bem? this week was so crazy but is was pretty awsome. i bought a new camera it was about $250 but itīs pretty sweet.oh let me tell you what happened this weekend. this week we had been planning for one baptism, a kid named Jonh-Lennon. we had also been teaching a girl named Idailania for about three months and this week we talked about baptism a lot with her because she was still undecided. we prayed every night that she would decide to be baptized on saturday( i wanted her to be baptized because i knew that i would be leaving and i wanted to see her baptism, and so that she can enter into celestial kingdom of course). saturday came around and she still had not decided so i kinda lost hope. it was about 5:00 and we went to visit her before the baptism and as we were leaving she told us that she wanted to be baptized. we were a little surprized, but we ran around looking for a phone to call the ZLīs so they could interview her. we didnīt get a hold of them so we had to call President, he said that elder Pinheiro could interview her so we told her to meet us in the church. when we left her house it started to rain like crazy, huge thunderstorm. as we were waiting in the church the power went out and we all sat in the dark for about 45min. we decided to call Idailania to make sure that she was on her way. when we called her the power had gone out in her house and her mom didnīt want her to leave in the dark. luckily one of the brothers had a car so my comp went and picked her up while we were waiting the power returned but them went out again, so wew sat in the dark again until the power returned. finally she arrived, elder pinheiro interviewed her and we were able to start the baptism. it was so crazy i have never ran around so much or prayed so hard that someone could be baptized but in the end it all worked out, it was way cool. we had the last MTC last night, we did a bunch of cool activities with the members. i felt a little sad because i will be leaving and i really love this area and all the members here but that is life as a missionary. well that was my week. hey iīm gonna try and send a package to you guys. be sure to say hi to everyone for me. oh and i will let you know soon how to call on natal, so send me all the numbers i need to call also, ok. Love Elder Tafoya
