HELLO familia. how is everyone. everything is cool here, actualy it´s pretty hot. my new area is on the equator. i was transfered to Macapá, Amapá. it is a state in the north on the equator. it is pretty sweet here, a little hot and it has started to rain. i got here on Friday because i had to stay in Belem to renew my visa. thursday night at about 10:00 we went to the airport to catch our plane and we didn´t leave until about 11:30 because of the rain. we finally took off but we had to turn back around when we got to Macapá because it was raining too hard to land. we returned to belem and waited for about 30 minutes thentook off again. we finally arrived in Macapá at about 2 in the morning, we grabbed our bags and i slept in the zone leaders house. we slept until about 7 so i got about 4 hours of sleep. in the morning my comp picked me up and we went to our area. i unpacked and we went to work. i got to know some ofthe members and on saturday we had a baptism. i am really liking this area so far, we have some really awsome investigators. i still don´t know what we are gonna do for christmas, we are waiting for someone to invite us over. i will let you know when to call me. my new comp is Elder Paixão (Elder Passion), he hasabout three months on the mission and he is from Minas Gerias, he is really cool. well i wish everyone a merry christmas, be sure to eat lots of turkey and pie for me and send lots of pictures, i want to see everyone. have everyone write to me also. i love you and have a wonderful christmas.
