hey family, how is everyone doing? i hope that everything is going well. i am doing pretty good. yesterday we had a district conference here with all of the branches, it was very good, our mission pres couldnīt come but his counselors came and gave two really good talks. imperatriz is preparing to become a stake right now and they only need two more preisthood holders to become a stake so everyone is pretty excited. today we are going to have a zone activity my comp and i bought 10 liters of icecream and we are going to have a barbeque and watch a movie. hopefully it will be pretty exciting, i am going to get fat off of eating icecream, there is a place in our area that sells icecream really cheap so we always buy it, even more now since it is like a million degrees here. i literally feel like i am sitting in a steam room all day long, i think i sweat about 5 gallons a day. the other day we were teaching a lesson and i could not stop sweating, the sweat was just dripping down my face the entire lesson, i felt like a sweaty pig and everyone kept asking me if i was alright. hey i liked the DC pics they turned out pretty good. Brandon, congrats on your graduation, i never thought this day would come, Ha ha ha, Just kiddin. oh funny story, we had a family home evening at a members house this week, and because no one had planned a message they chose me to give the message. i decided to use the message of the cross, i gave everyone a piece of paper and they had to make a cross out of it but could only tear the paper one time, there is a trick to it and in the end you come up with a cross and the letters that spell LIVES, as in jesus lives. so by the end of the message everyone had torn up all of the paper and there was paper everywhere, when i finished with the message everyone wanted to play a game or a joke but no one could think of anything so we kinda sat around for a few minutes looking at eachother and then someone threw a paper ball at me, and that is when the paper war started, everyone started crumpling up paper and we had an all out paper war in this members house. we wared on for about 30 minutes and after everyone had taken enough paper shots, and we were all exhuasted our war ended. the members house was a mess, it looked like a tornado had passed through with paper everywhere. we stayed and cleaned up. but the lesson of the story is that it is not a good idea to teach a lesson with paper because in the end you might have a pretty nasty paper war. well that was m y excitement for the week, i love you guys. Elder Tafoya
