Well it has been Ty's second Christmas out in the mission field. I am so proud of him, he is doing so well, I just want him to know that I am very proud of his decision. If it were not for a missionary that had made that decision, I would not be a member of the true church. I am a convert, and my son is such a great example to me. I have been serving in the branch presidency for a singles branch, the young people of today are just outstanding in their testimonies and service. For anyone who is reading this and preparing for a mission good for you, keep your prayers strong, your thoughts clean and prepare for the hardest work of your life, that will bring the Lords blessings to the people you meet and teach, you will be blessed beyond your imagination. I do love my son, and I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints is the true church. Merry Christmas to all.

Ahh ... you look so good Elder Young! WE are very proud of the decision you have made to be a full-time missionary. You will be blessed for your great efforts and willingness to serve the Lord! Your family is so proud of you too! I went home for a visit a couple weeks ago and I got to see all of your family. They all look really good and they even made dinner for us. Yummiest sticky rice and peanut stuff ever! (My sister and I even had a guy come to meet Ashley ;- I am not sure if they went out yet, but I know he was going to ask her out!)
Keep up the great work! Our prayers are with you and all the other missionaries!!!!! Take Care!

Well Tyson made it to the MTC safe and sound. As we were walking down the hall to the chapel we were talking about Philip and wondering where he was at when all of a sudden this door opens and Phil comes walking out. He held his arms high and in the air and cheered when he saw us. He and Tyson hugged and we were told that we just had a tender mercy from the Lord but to keep moving on. How exciting it was to be there! 600 new missionaries arrived yesterday. Tyson was very happy and we had the best day ever!!!!
