The end of Elder Wright and Elder Ray, last transfer

The Metropole seems fine. As well as the Protea. It seems like those are the two that the church has been using recently. I was told that the food is better at the Protea. If I book it for you here, I might even be able to get you some kind of missionary discount. I think they do that for us at the Protea.

I went to see Fred Bukenya a few days ago. He said he's going to need all the money a month in advance. I'm not exactly sure why... But he said he would e-mail you a notice when the time comes. He seems like a good guy, and it seems like a good company. We'll have a decent ride down. A little private taxi bus, customized for safariing. I'm not really sure of the exact itinerary. I also would like to know which lodges we're staying in. I heard really good things about Mweya in Queen Elizabeth. And I forget which lodge was the good one at Bwindi...

Well, mine and Elder Ray's work is done. We just got back from Jinja orientating and delivering the last of our leadership guides. We've even had some requests of autographed copies. I haven't heard any negative talk about them yet. We actually got a text message yesterday from an Elder giving very good compliments about it. He had reviewed it and described it to be a "master guide to leadership." That was the exact opposite thing we expected to hear from that particular missionary. Anyways, I feel good about it and we hope it will make a difference.

President Christensen called me this morning and told me what I'll be doing next transfer. He's sending me to Mengo to whitewash an area with another Ugandan who was just "transferred" here from Ghana Accra Mission. He's remaining with about seven months on his mission. I'll be living with Elder Mabundu and Elder Welsh in the biggest house in the mission. It's Elder Mabundu's last transfer as well. He'll be our district leader there.
