Spiritual insights, testimony meeting & casting out spirits

MOM,
I've appreciated your spiritual insights. As missionaries we usually never use the Pearl of Great Price. Even D&C is rarely used. Sometimes I'll just throw out a D&C scripture without any explanation of it's origin. For most people, they wouldn't know the Old Testament from the New Testament, so I haven't had much trouble. In our "Preach My Gospel" manuals, it never once tells when or how to introduce these scriptural books to our investigators. Just kind of freestyle by the spirit I guess.
I do feel like people are much more receptive to me because of my color. I'm respected. Everyone assumes I'm rich and that I have all the answers or something. I can't say that's always the case. But it's a common behavior. They seem to be proud to be seen walking or talking with a muzungu. I'm constantly offered lunch (90% of time I've already eaten) and I've had women say they want to marry me (majority were drunk). I often forget just how much I stick out. I'm only reminded when I see other white people, which is obviously rare.
Testimony meeting yesterday was very nice. Basically it was every strong member that got up. But even one of our investigators got up and said how he feels "the power" whenever he comes and that he feels he's on the right track to the truth. There was a 9 year old who was recently baptized sitting in front of me. He, his sister (14), and older brother (17) are the only members in their family. But I tapped him on the back and gave him the nod. He went up and said how grateful he was that his brother showed him the true church. He said he was grateful that his parents were still alive and that he knew that Joseph Smith was called by God to restore the true church. And that was it. His older brother that he mentioned is an awesome example to him as well to everyone in that branch. Faustin (the older brother) has a good understanding for the church and is a huge help in our missionary work. He's only been a member for 1.5 years. But he holds like 2 callings and is willing to do anything to help. He's a cool kid. He'll definitely be part of the foundation of growth and strength in this branch.
There was an interesting event that took place in Mukono on Sunday. A 14 year old girl was being baptized, but when she came out of the water, she was unconscious. In the baptismal interview with our District Leader before the baptism she claimed she was "possessed." And according to the events that took place shortly after that baptism, I would say that she may have been correct. I don't think it's appropriate to share all the details that I was told by the District Leader who lives with me that was there when it happened, but I can say that it was very real. And that the power of priesthood is also very real. What is the doctrine on such things? It seems that possession is possible, but why and how? This isn't the first story I've heard here, but it was the most descriptive story I've heard... coming from the very person who cast the spirit out and who could recall the events very clearly because it happened only hours before he told me. So I guess you could say that it strengthened my testimony in it. But if you know any teachings from prophets concerning it, I'd be interested.
