Cereal and Milk

Date: January 29, 2007
Area: Seeta
Companion: Elder Shenjere

Scratch the cereal idea. Dad was right about the milk thing. I buy milk here sometimes, but I have to boil it first, then drink it nice and warm with maybe some sugar in it. "Milk Tea" as they call it. Some of the stores around here sell corn flakes and some other generic cereal, but I haven't been tempted to buy any.

So now I have to go home and wait for the water truck to come. Because we have none... So no shower today. Can't flush the toilet. Can't wash clothes. It's a little frustrating. But it's OK.

Lately I've been eating oatmeal for breakfast. I found some Quaker Oats believe it or not. Or sometimes I make this pancake looking thing that some guys from Zimbabwe taught me to make from flour. If we have power I'll make toast. I try to drink about a liter of water each morning. And another liter at lunch.

HAVE A GREAT WEEK
