Powerful members, Elder Wright and 2 PAC

Every day I have to cross the bridge over the Nile to go to my area. There are some really powerful members here. It's so humbling to see some of their testimonies and the sacrifices they make to stay true to the faith. We watched the Mountain of the Lord with one of the recent converts that I have to continue nurturing. She asked about sealing in the temple and what she can do to help herself for that (her husband is not yet baptized). So I just happen to know the perfect DVD for her. I let her borrow it also. I know she'll watch it like 5 times. Lucky enough she actually has a DVD player and a tiny TV (her husband is a traveling engineer for the gov't).

My companion is cool. We still get a lot of confusion with our names obviously, but it's not that big of a deal. The confusing thing is that they already think that we all have the same name, ELDER. So to add on Wright, it just makes it harder to explain.

I'm glad Nancy received that letter. I felt a little inspiration writing it. The spirit was able to bring some things to my remembrance. I was able to quote 2 PAC and tie it in with living the gospel for our love of God. So I figured that should be perfect for her. Although I don't think I could get away with quoting 2 PAC over the pulpit. But in teaching you always have to start with something that they do understand. Kind of like Jesus and the parables... Just trying to follow in His foot steps.
