The time is far spent. Internet here isn't very reliable as I'm sure you've realized from some of my comments in past e-mails.

Again I want to thank you for the most absolutely coolest Christmas package that an Elder could receive. Everything was awesome. I've only been able to watch one of the DVD's though. I've been reading Jesus the Christ before I go to sleep. I've been using my new scripture marker. I've already finished all the cookies. The music is powerful. But the Mac n' Cheese is what makes me feel most like home. Kraft really knows how to do it.

On Christmas day when we went to eat at our investigator family's house, they let me have the special part of the chicken. Apparently only the father is allowed to eat it, but they allowed me to eat it as a special guest. I think it was the lungs and heart or something. It actually wasn't that good, but I felt privileged. The daughters don't even know what it tastes like, because they've never been allowed to eat it. They just watched and smiled as I ate it.

This week we taught a man who has a new born baby. We found that he named the baby, "ALMA." Me and my companion’s eyes both lit up. We had to know where he got that name. Apparently he derived it from some traditional name in his tribe called ALMANINA or something. It was still pretty cool.

Yesterday we had an investigator come who we were pretty sure wouldn't come. She came before with her mother and father, but only once. We went to visit them during the week and they seemed pretty put-off with us and just kept inviting us to their church, Kampala Pentecostal Church (KPC). Well, she came without her parents and told Sister Huskinson that if her parents find out she’s coming to this church they'll kick her out of the house. Apparently she really recognizes us as the Lords servants because we really haven't even taught her very much. Some people are just prepared I guess.

I usually fall into routines from house to house and transfer to transfer. For me transfers are times of refreshing and making changes in the way I work.

Thanks for the package again! I seriously liked it a lot.

Have a great week!

Zac
