I have enjoyed reading Josh's letters. My son, Elder John Olsen was called to serve in the India,
Bangalore mission. He entered the MTC Aug 12, 2009. He and the other missionaries called to India did not get their visas and part are serving in the South Salt Lake mission and 2 are serving in the Washington, Kennewick mission while they await their visas to India. Appearantly, the last 3 sets of missionaries called to India have not received visas. I wonder if they are noticing the drop in the number of missionaries serving in India.

Hey - I'm so glad to see your website on here! My son, Dallan Tucker, is with Joshua in India! They reported at the same time! I will look forward to reading Elder Tuscano's letters each week. I feel I have a connection with him since my own son is serving in the same mission. Thank You!

Departed for Bangalore on Nov 10; SLC to Denver (we got to talk with him by phone at each of those airports), then to Frankfurt, then to Bangalore arriving November 12. He was excited and anxious.
When Josh and the 13 other missionaries going to Bangalore arrived at the Salt Lake airport, they met an Indian gentleman traveling the same route. He was very friendly and acquainted with the LDS faith (for over 30 years). It was a great opportunity for the missionaries to experience the challenge of discussing differences and similarities among religions as they prepare to teach the gospel.
