Hello Everyone,
I can’t believe I have been here for 5 weeks its crazy. I feel like I just go here. Were now the second oldest district in our Zone. It’s weird because the people that have been here longer always looked so much older than me and now I looked at the new kids coming in and they look younger. It’s crazy. Well it’s been an awesome week here. Sunday Night we had an Amazing Devotional. I honestly can’t remember the speakers name but he wasn’t the best part. He invited the 4 most recent converts up to the stand so share their story of conversion. Wow. It was so cool to hear all the different backgrounds and how they met the missionaries and all that. It was such an uplifting experience and it made you excited to finally get out there!! They describe they difference they felt and how drastic it was. One of the Elders was talking about how in High School he pretty much did everything. And once he graduated he decided that he needed to start doing something with his life. So he prayed and guess what? A week later the missionaries just (randomly) showed up to his door. He said he knew instantly what he should do. It was awesome.
After we watched a Re Run of Elder Bednars talk here at the MTC Christmas day. He talked about the Character of Christ. That’s one thing I have realized here the most. The Atonement isn’t about just being forgiven and that’s it. It’s about an actual transformation that occurs where you start to want and become like Christ. I never really understood it until now. Jamie sent this article to me that described it perfectly. I Love reading it.
Monday I got to go to Physical Therapy with Elder Call in our district who tore his ACL his first week here at the MTC. It was strange leaving here and it made me feel weird haha. Well anyways I managed to find a un used Therapy Bed with a Curtain. So I took a nice siesta for 2 hours. I have never been so tired in my life. I’m never physically tired. But by the end of the day and can’t think straight and listening to Spanish hurts my head. But here’s the best part. After Therapy we were in the Changing room changing back into our suits. Well this older guy came in and starting talking to us and asked where were going and the usual questions. Well we continued to talk and he proceeded to undress until he was completely naked and standing right next to me. We continued talking for 20 minutes and he didn’t attempt to put any clothes on. I thought it was pretty funny and we had a nice chat.
I made it out to see Cy come in on Wednesday. It was nice to see Dave, Jill and the Fam. I heard our new District was from Chile so I thought for sure it was going to be in our district! But he isn’t. But his residence in the same building and hall as TCurt I’m pretty sure.
I’m soooooo excited for Austin to come in next Wednesday. It’s about fricken time! You’re going to Love it here. Bring a nice blanket and don’t put it in your suitcase. You can just ship it home when you leave. I may be able to host this week but I’m not quite sure.
Thanks for all the Valentine’s Day Gifts. Elder Terry and I had a nice Day together haha!
Dad go to Mormon.org and search Tom Ngo. We watched his video in our class and it took me a minute to realize I knew him.
I’m sorry if I forgot anything
