I totally just remembered you have this website. I looked it up and your little site is the featured site of the month.

I know you don't look at this, but I hope your mother does and forwards my message. Hermana, I love you and continue praying for you everyday. I'm so jealous that you're still there. Enjoy the, um, long (cough cough) time you have left in the field. It flies by.

Bethany was my last comp (of my mission). I'm home now and have package ideas if anyone wants to know what she would LOVE to recieve, but would never ask for. She is absolutely amazing and I am SO jealous that she is headed to Melo. It was my DREAM to serve in Melo. Thank you for posting her e-mails. I LOVE to hear about/from her every week. It's helping me adjust to civilian life. So if anyone wants to know what she would LOVE to recieve, e-mail me! -Self

Hello family and friends,

Update about Hermana Addington:

We enjoyed an exciting Mother's Day phone call from her yesterday and loved hearing about all of her experiences in Uruguay. She is doing wonderful as you can see when you read her letters.

For those of you who have asked what you can send her, she would greatly appreciate anything that will help keep her warm during the very cold winter months that she is now facing. Soups, hot cocoa, trail mix and of course her favorites...peanut butter and dried mangoes. Winter scarves and mittens...

Thanks for all of your support to Hermana Addington...she has loved receiving your letters and packages.

It was great getting your Christmas card. Thanks for your testimony, it made my night/life. I feel kind of weird writing on this wall because everyone and their perro can read it. I better just write you a letter instead to fill you in on my vida. Anywho, all is well and I am actually starting to enjoy dental escuela. I'll fill you in later.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Hermana Addington is unable to respond to any emails that are sent to her gmail or hotmail accounts-she does not even check them She has a new email that she used in the MTC and is using in Uruguay. She is not allowed to receive email to this account EXCEPT one email from our family each week.
Therefore, you can send a letter via pouch (see new instructions) or to Uruguay. If she hasn't responded to any of your emails, now you know why.

I wanted to inform you of the recent change made in SLC in sending pouch mail to all missionaries. Effective November 1, 2007 only the following items may be sent through the pouch:
*Postcards
*Letters that are a single sheet, folded into three panels, and taped at the top/middle (no side tape)

Letters sent in any other manner will be returned.

Dearelder.com currently is unavailable due to these changes and we are unsure when it will return.

We have been sending letters/cards directly to the mission home which cost 90 cents for international mail.

Thanks for all your support to Hermana Addington. She loves your letters and packages.

Bethany!!! Oh my gosh, I miss you sososo much!!! I'm so sorry I've been such a horrible letter writer (I told you I'm not good at that) I sent you a package a couple weeks ago so I'm hoping that you got that. I'll have to send you a regular letter now just in case. Life is good here. Reading your letters is so inspirational. I'm so proud of you. You're an AMAZING person and have been such a great friend. I love you girl!!!

I laughed and cried when I read your first letter from the mission field. You are in right place. Work hard!!!! We love you and miss you but feel so blessed to have your example and light! Emma loves to tell the missionaries in our ward about her aunt who is a missionary.

We love you. You are a beautiful daughter of God and ours, as well. Remember who you are. You are called to serve. Remember, "And I was led by the Spirit, not knowing beforehand the things which I should do." (Where can you read this?) Remember, "Preach My Gospel." (I am reading it practically every day.) Remember, "And this is life eternal, to know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent." Remember, the Prophets, especially Joseph Smith and the First Vision; and our Living Prophet. Remember Him. We love and have confidence in you!

Hermana Addington, we, too, are so proud of you. You will be such a strength to the people in the areas that you serve. You have been such an example to us and especially to the kids. We love you so much! KIT

Oh man! Dan beat me to it! Anyway, to echo Dan's words we are so excited for you and proud of you as well. We will miss you greatly but know the people of Uruguay need you to listen to your strong testimony and faith in the gospel. We love you and can't wait to hear what is going on in your first letter.
