I have seen so many miracles on my mission.

HOLA FAMILIA!! Bueno.
What else to share...I love working with Hermana Azalgara. She is such a great person. I know that President Ashby was truly inspired for putting us together, as she has really helped me in the difficult moments. I love her.
Last Thursday we had zone conference. I can't remember if I told you, but Elder Zivic came with his wife, and the Crums, the matrimonio that are serving here. It was such an amazing conference. They talked about obedience of course, and about enduring through the hard moments. It was so great to see Hermana Alejo, my daughter. She is having a rough time right now. I put her name in the temple when we went, so if you could do the same and pray for her I would greatly appreciate it. Gracias! My compa said that the change after your trainer is the hardest.
I am trying to think of anything else to share... We are teaching a woman named Susana, that is a previous investigator. She went to church on Sunday! She received a blessing of health as she has problems with her bones. I don’t remember what that is called…Sorry!! (It is really hard to think and type in English anymore.) She told us she really felt the spirit during her blessing. She shared with us her life story. She really has an interesting story. We definitely were touched. How we met her, is that we are teaching her daughter Mary who has also been to church.
I am just so grateful for this opportunity I have had to serve the Lord. I love it!! I have changed so much as a person, and feel so much closer to my Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ. I know the Atonement is real. I know that we can change. I am so greatful for the power of prayer.
I love you all so much. Thanks for your letters and support. I feel so blessed in my life. By the way, President Ashby returned last Thursday at noon with the Hermana. We were told he is doing just fine. I know he had a quick recovery because we all fasted and prayed for him.
Mom, I finally received your package. Gracias!! I appreciate it.
Right now we are in 33, and we are going to leave in about 20 minutes to go to this ravine in 33 (for p-day), called Quebrados de los Cuervos. I have no idea really what it is, but I have heard it's really a pretty place. I am quite excited, but I have been run down lately...sick with a cold and migraines, but I still want to go. When will I be able to go again? : )
This week has definitely been a challenging week!!! (Hermana) Erin Cottle sent me a package with letters to give to people here. She said that the last change before going home is the most challenging, and boy is she right! Estella, who was going to be baptized the end of this month, told us on Saturday that she doesn’t want to listen to us anymore, and that she doesn’t want to go to church. She went to a church for 7 years and started attending ours about a month and a half ago. She works in the almacen of her brother and sister-in-law, Norma. Norma is sick, and she told us her brother doesn’t want us teaching her anymore in the almacen. It is so sad, but she is a person that is really easily persuaded. We fasted for her a week ago, that she would feel prepared for her baptism the end of this month. We are continuing to pray for her, and know that maybe right now is not her time. She is a wonderful person, and it was very hard to drop her.
Some good news is this man named Luis, that we contacted on the street one day, has been to church the last 2 Sundays, and wants to get baptized. He doesn’t understand everything, because he has difficulties with remembering things, but he is so cute. He is just like a little grandpa. He reminds me of my grandpa : ) The members in Varela, and the two priesthood holders that we have that are active, are really fellowshipping him.
Sandro Amaral and Javier (the recent convert that I taught) and Sandro and his wife Deyanira are incredible in trying to friendship him.
I am SO greateful that I have had this opportunity to be in Varela again to get to know them better. They truly are amazing. Luis plans on attending church every Sunday, or at least that is what he tells us.

I don’t think I told you in my last email about a special experience I had when we went to the temple for Pedro and Lorena. The bishop told us we didn't need to be to the temple until 10:30, as the session was going to start at 11. When we got there the session was full! I had asked the members if we need to be there earlier, and they said no. The temple workers told us we still could go to the sealing after the session, but I had such a strong desire to be with them, in their session. They said they would talk to the Temple President and see if we could get in. As we waited on the bench, which was probably 10 minutes, but felt like 10 hours, I prayed desperately we could get in to the session of Pedro and Lorena, but I knew I couldn’t do that! SO I changed my prayers, and said if it was His will, I would LOVE to enter the session so I could be there to share this special experience with them. My prayers were answered and we were able to enter the session. I have seen so many miracles on my mission. It is amazing. I know they happen because of the power of prayer.

Bueno. Love you all a ton!!
