<DIV>Emmy you're taking the SATs!!! Where did the time go? I'll pray for your sucess. And Laurel President too awesome! Running uhuh sure like we don't know that dancing is what you really want to be doing. There's no shame my baby sister is a dancer. Yes I'm,learning a ton of new things it is awesome I don't think I'll ever look at Lehi's vision of the tree of life the same way again, and you should totally take another look at the new testament when they brought the woman caught in adultery before Jesus and really think about the significance of what he's doing when they talk to him. And movies actually got something right, shocker!</DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>Bryan I'm glad you like young men's so much. I'm sure you can do fun stuff outside the gym the girls have it for volleyball now and they don't get it very often I'm sure they think you guys are fun suckers when you have it and the YM have it a lot more than the YW do. Missionary stuff indeed. Stephanie I believe we have been insulted Bryan seems to think reading is better than us. How rude! I love you Flying Monkey.</DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>My companion/ trainer is Sister Burton. She's from Rexburg. and Yes we have the West side of Lafayette. We're actually sharing an apartment with another set of sisters, Sister Thomas and Sister Judas (pronounced Juda). Sister Judas is from France she was transfered here from Temple Square. It's very interesting being here because the Elders we took over the area from have been slowly switching over to spanish for Months so when we got here we had nothing. We were double transfered in and had to start from scratch. It was really stressful the first day or two because we spent like the whole day getting organized and there wasn't a lot I could help with and I got homesick and she was uber stressed out since she's never trained before and she has to open and new area at the same time but things are getting better now. We recieved some awesome Media referrals 1 was for Andrea who has an inactive roomate named Amanda who actually wants to come back we talked to Amanda yesterday and have an appointment with her and Andrea on Wednesday. Another was Lanyeeka Williams she ordered a Joy to the World DVD and Sister Barton also gave her a BOM she's married with 5 children the youngest of which is 8, how perfect is that, we have an appointment with her on Wednesday to. The last referral we're working on now is the Stanford family Terry, Melissa and the 4 daughters (the youngest is 8) we shared a short message with them last time and give them a BOM and have an open invite back. We have been so blessed this week it absolutely blows my mind God's hand shows up nudging us in the right direction every time I turn around. My companion is carrying a little to much of the work load right now though as I need to work more on contacting and teaching actual investigators but I know that Heavenly Father will help me get through these problems and make me into the kind of missionary he needs me to be as long as I keep trying and have faith in him. The Relief Society President Sister Broussard has been really halpful to she's given us the names and addresses of several inactives she wants us to work with and a huge part of our game plan in this ward is to work with the inactives. It's awesome! We had that lesson on George Albert Smilth in Relief Society wasn't it amazing how he continually pushed himself to be a little better and stand out in a good way. We really should stand out we're different if others can't see that that's a problem. I'm glad you're useing golf to get more exercise Dad it's good that you're getting better at it. I'm so jealous of the Kindle though I want one. And thanks for Jessica's address. </DIV>
<DIV>My New address is </DIV><SPAN id=lw_1326162654_0 xxx_class=yshortcuts>

<DIV>Lafayette, LA 70503</DIV></SPAN>
<DIV>Tansfers happen on Wednesdays here and Distict meetings usually happen on Friday.</DIV>
<DIV id=yui_3_2_0_1_13261626484994699>Steph I'm sure your investigators will be going to church soon and Josh sounds awesome. I'll see about sending you a map of my mission. O there's going to be a mission conference down in NEw Orleans with Elder Bednar on Saturday. Well I have to go now I love you.</DIV>
<DIV>Mom &amp; Dad can you please send me some CDs with cvhurch music I definately want my Women at the Well Cd and one burned with My copies of Come thou Fount, nearer my god to thee, and Rose of Bethlehem use your discretion for the rest.</DIV>

<DIV id=yui_3_2_0_1_13261626484994044>I'm so glad you enjoyed Lousiana, I just know I'm going to love it! Yes being back to the warmth will be nice I'll appreciate the added humidity as well the lack thereof here is killing my skin. But actually it hasn't been to bad here I've worn my winter coat maybe twice usually just a jacket is enough. It's great that Emmy is getting out of the full length brace soon and she won't need any more sponge baths. I can sympathize with her lack of excitement about returning to school though. It's great that Bry is enjoying the PS3. If you want to do more missionary work you can always ask the Ward Mission Leader if there's anything you can do to help. This year I have two resolutions I was challenged to read the BOM at least 30 minutes a day and take time to ponder what I read and my other resolution is to lose myself in the work. I will be landing in the Dallas/Fort Worth airport at 10 and leaving at about 12 according to my schedule so expect a call around that time. Yes I got both the card and the care package and was both surprised and delighted. Thank You! I love you both and thank you so much for the support and the example of going on a mission. It's amazing since I've been here I've been happier than I've been in a long time, and I've come to feel my Heavenly Father's love for me more clearly. I know that he wants me on my mission and in Lousiana I'm not sure why I'm being sent to Louisiana yet but I'll keep my eyes open. It's amazing since I've been here I've already begun to see miracles and I know I'll see more even greater ones as I do what he wants me to. By the way I saw a morman message that dad and Bry should totally watch together its called "sanctify yourselves." Scriptures have begun to take on a knew light and wonder since I've entered my Father's service and I feel like the quality of my prayers has improved. I am so grateful that I've had the opportunity to come here and serve Him. I know more than ever that this church is true, that Joseph Smith was a prophet, that the Book of Mormon is true, that through the atonement I can be forgiven of my sins and that my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are truely aware of me. It's and incredible gift. I love you all. Please write soon and have Em and Bryan reply to the letters I sent them. I'll send my new address as soon as I can and expect letters from some of the Sisters at the MTC to asking for it. A Stephy thank you so much for being such a good older sister and for being a good example to me. I'm so greatful that you helped set that example of righteous decisions and going on a Mission.</DIV>
<DIV>With Love,</DIV>

<DIV id=yui_3_2_0_1_13245283350362642>Hey everyone,</DIV>
<DIV><BR>The <SPAN id=lw_1324528339_0 xxx_class=yshortcuts>MTC</SPAN> is awesome! The hardest thing is keeping track of my schedule, getting everywhere on time and having almost no time to write letters or journal. My P day is Wednesday. I take it yours is monday. Sister Jones and I like to go upstairs for gym I like the pull up assist and running around the track; she prefers all the machines and stretching, though she does occasionally run with me.</DIV>
<DIV id=yui_3_2_0_1_13245283350362648>I loved the funny story it cracked me up so here's one of my own. Some backstory we have some awesome Elders in our district they have awesome testimonies and when our leaders instructed them in behaving in how to present themselves and behave in front of ladies (to act like gentlemen) they "obeyed with exactness". Well they usually get to class and just about everywhere else before we get there and when we enter the room they all stand. Well one day the sisters beat them there and we felt a little mischievious. So when they entered the room we all stood up. It was hilarious! Elder Fullmer who was in the front turned around and tried to walk back out but four of the other Elders stopped him, they seemed to see the humor. But once the five of them were inside I noticed Elder Wolfe standing right outside the door with his arms folded and giving us what could only be described as a mom look. Well since we'd had our fun we sat down at which point he kind of huffed and marched to his desk. It was amazing. Well my companion is Sister Jones she came in the same day as me, is also going to Baton Rouge and is the new coordinating sister. The only other Sisters in our district, zone, and room are Sister (Dara) Farnsworth and Sister Reed they're going to Tucson Arizona. The Elders are Elders Black and Jones (Tucson), Elders Lawson and Wolfe (Baton Rouge), and Elders Fulmer (Baton Rouge) and Burger (Tucson). I love being here I feel like I'm already groing so much spiritually and as a person. The ongoing investigators are amazing. And I love my District! I can't make any phone calls for Christmas but i'll have time to write letters. By the way Mom, Dad what happened to getting daily letters in the MTC I've only had 1 and it's beginning to stress me out.</DIV>
<DIV>Love</DIV>
